The Tour of Scandinavia is a women’s stage race held across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. It is the expanded version of Ladies Tour of Norway which ran between 2014 and 2021. In it’s various forms it has been part of the World Tour since 2017, and is the only stage race hosted in Scandinavia that features in the World Tour series.
Marianne Vos is the most successful rider at the former Tour of Norway, winning three times (2017, 2018, 2019).
Tour of Scandinavia 2022
The 2022 race was the first edition of the expanded tour and was held from 9 to 14 August 2022. It was the 19th event of the 2022 World Tour. The route covered a distance of 819 km over 6 stages. The winner of the General classification was Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig. It was her first win at World Tour level.
